Cooperating Teacher

Miss Milda, my cooperating teacher, was such a blessing during my time at Assisi. She was incredibly kind, hands-on, and so easy to be with, making my teaching journey smooth and enjoyable. Her support and guidance were unwavering, and she was always there for me whenever I needed help or advice. I learned so much from her—not just about teaching, but also about patience, dedication, and the importance of genuinely caring for your students. I miss her so much and will always carry her lessons and kindness with me. To Miss Milda, thank you for being an amazing mentor and for believing in me. I hope to make you proud as I continue my journey as a teacher. Your example inspires me to always give my best and to touch the lives of my students, just as you have touched mine.

Class

During my time in Assisi, I had the privilege of teaching five classes from Grade 10, Sections 1 to 5. Even though I handled many classes, it never felt tiring because the students were smart, active, participative, and so easy to be with. Their positive energy and eagerness to learn made every lesson a joy to teach and every moment worthwhile. They reminded me of the beauty of education and the importance of building connections with students. To my dear Assisi students, always keep your passion for learning alive and never stop believing in yourselves. You have so much potential, and I know you will achieve great things. Thank you for making my teaching journey unforgettable—you have inspired me as much as I hope I inspired you.

Teacher's Day

We celebrated Teacher's Day, and I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude and admiration for the teachers at Assisi. They were so kind, funny, and thoughtful, always making an effort to speak with me in English, which made me feel so welcome and included. Their warmth and sincerity created an environment filled with joy, love, and laughter, making my experience here truly unforgettable. I will miss their smiles, their stories, and the genuine care they showed me every day. This journey has been a beautiful chapter in my life, and I will carry the memories of their kindness and friendship with me forever. Thank you, Assisi teachers, for everything—you have left a mark on my heart!

Final Demo - Teaching

This was my final demo-teaching with Class 10-5, and it was an experience I will always treasure. The students were incredibly smart, participative, active, and so much fun to teach. Their enthusiasm and energy made every lesson enjoyable and meaningful. I felt truly inspired by their eagerness to learn and their ability to engage in discussions with confidence and curiosity. Teaching them English was not just a task but a joy, as I didn’t encounter any major challenges because of their positive attitude and willingness to grow. They have left a lasting impression on me, and I am so proud to have been part of their journey, even for a short time. Thank you, Class 10-5, for making my teaching experience so memorable—you will always have a special place in my heart!

Farewell with the School

This day was my farewell day at Assisi, and I had the honor of giving a message to the students and teachers in celebration of Teacher's Day. I felt incredibly emotional and sad, but I held back my tears as I spoke, trying to stay strong. However, once I finished my message, the emotions overwhelmed me, and I burst into tears. The love, kindness, and warmth I received from everyone here made this experience unforgettable. I will truly miss all of you—the laughter, the lessons, and the moments we shared. This journey has been filled with so much joy and love, and I’ll carry these memories with me forever. Thank you for everything; you will always have a special place in my heart.

With the School Officials

I just want to express my heartfelt thanks for all the kindness, humor, and warmth you showed me during my time in Samarinda. On my last day, I left with a happy heart, and I couldn't help but think about how much I wish I had more time to spend with all of you from the very start. The effort you made to communicate with me in English, even when it wasn't always easy, truly made me feel welcome and appreciated. You made my experience in Samarinda so memorable, and I will always treasure the conversations, laughter, and support you shared. The way you welcomed me into your school with open arms and made me feel like part of your community meant the world to me. I’ll never forget the moments we shared and the lessons I learned not just from the subjects, but from your example as compassionate, dedicated, and fun teachers. I am deeply grateful for everything, and I hope our paths cross again in the future. Thank you for making my time so special!

As a student-teacher exchange from the Philippines, my demo-teaching experience in Indonesia was both exciting and enriching. I introduced interactive lessons, blending Philippine and Indonesian teaching techniques to engage students in meaningful learning. The experience allowed me to share my cultural background while learning from Indonesia's educational approaches, fostering an exchange of ideas and teaching styles that enhanced my skills and broadened my perspective as an educator.
